This is the first in the series of the enchanting tales about Sherb the owl and Pip the mouse, who live in a shop called Not Before Tea.

Written by 10 year-old Henry Patterson, the first story, entitled Pip Gets a Job, follows the little mouse as he desperately tries to make himself useful in the shop.

This hardback book is illustrated by children’s illustrator Becky Down who captures the traditional feel of the story beautifully.
